Customer Terms & Conditions
By using the Desteno App, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1Service Use
- Desteno connects customers with verified drivers for rental or chauffeur services.
- You must provide accurate personal and location details for proper service.
- Misuse of the app or fake bookings may result in account suspension.
2Bookings & Cancellations
- Once a driver is assigned, cancellations after 5 minutes may incur a cancellation fee.
- If the driver delays pickup by more than 5 minutes, you will not be charged a cancellation fee.
- Multiple cancellations or false bookings can lead to account deactivation.
3Payments & Refunds
- Payments are processed securely through the app.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be initiated after verifying the case and may take 5–7 working days.
- No refund will be issued for completed trips or customer-side cancellations after driver arrival.
4Safety & Conduct
- Always verify the driver's ID before the trip.
- Any misconduct or complaint should be reported via helpdesk@desteno.com.
- Desteno is not responsible for loss of belongings left in the vehicle.
5Data & Privacy
- We collect your location and contact details to fulfill bookings and improve our services.
- Personal data is protected and never shared except for legal or operational reasons.

6Liability
- Desteno acts as a booking platform only and is not liable for any accident, delay, or damage caused during service.
- Drivers are independent contractors responsible for following traffic and safety laws.
7Modifications
Desteno may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app means acceptance of the latest version.
8General & Legal
- You agree not to use the Platform and/or Services for any purpose that is unlawful, illegal or forbidden by these Terms, or Indian or local laws that might apply to you.
- You shall indemnify and hold harmless Desteno (JPS Logistics), its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, agents, and employees, from any claim or demand, or actions including reasonable attorney's fees, made by any third party or penalty imposed due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Use.
- These Terms and any dispute or claim relating to it, or its enforceability, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. All disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
- Notwithstanding anything contained in these Terms of Use, the parties shall not be liable for any failure to perform an obligation under these Terms if performance is prevented or delayed by a force majeure event.
